Bruins Hockey Injury

Should teams be held liable for inflicting career ending injuries?
We all know there is some risk of injury in full contact sports. No doubt the players have to sign contracts waiving their right to sue. But there are some players who are excessive, and intentionally try to injure opposing players, thereby taking them out of the game. This type of behavior is most blatant in Ice Hockey, where teams like the Boston Bruins take cheap shots at good players to keep them out of the game. In some cases the coaches even encourage this type of brutality. Considering what we now know about the long-term effects of concussions, or even how an injury can ruin a young players career, should teams and players be held liable, or is a 5 minute penalty sufficient?
I think they should yield some kind of responsibility if it is a blatant intent to injure, which ends a players career. But there are some plays that are not intentional that just happen to injure a player and in some cases, end their career. That being said, the player, not the team, should be held liable for obvious, blatant intent to injure plays that do cut a career short.

Nhl Bruins Injury

Is an NHL player entitled to a champoinship ring if…?
Now I’m not sure how it works in the NHL…
If Vancouver wins the cup, will Aaron Rome (Suspended for the remainder of the series) be able to claim his championship ring? And what about Horton (injured for the rest of the series), will he get his ring if Bruins pull off a comeback and win?
It’s funny, but I think the same happened to a goalie a few years back that was out on injury for the Stanley cup playoffs and apparently didn’t get his ring… I just don’t remember where I read that…???
Thanks guys (and gals)!
Both would get rings should their teams win.
